Parenting is a remarkable journey filled with joy, challenges, and endless love. However, amid the responsibilities and demands of raising children, it's easy for parents to lose themselves in the process and struggle with balancing parenthood with their own personal responsibilities and life. Striking a balance between nurturing your children and maintaining your own identity and well-being is essential for both you and your kids. So, here are some strategies and tips that you can implement on how to love your children deeply without losing sight of who you are.

Self-Care Is Not Selfish

The first step in preserving your identity while being a loving parent is to prioritise self-care. It's not selfish to take time for yourself; in fact, it's necessary for your mental, emotional, and physical well-being. When you are well-rested, healthy, and emotionally balanced, you can be a better parent.
